Margo Gustina will orient participants to thinking about community librarianship through a social wellbeing lens, share helpful resources for both getting started in the work and deepening impacts, as well as offer practical how-to-do-it guidance.

These four-session are hosted by the Southern Tier Library System (NY) and open to all, though registration is required. The sequence is as follows:

  1. May 7: Setting your compass heading toward community wellbeing
  2. May 14: Belonging: practices, beliefs, and impacts
  3. May 21: Resources for deeper understanding and broader impacts
  4. May 28: Practices and their evaluation
