Youth Empowerment

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_text_separator title=”Author’s Note”][vc_column_text]A quick word from tool creator and co-director of the Elk River Free Library District in Idaho, Richard Styre:

I built this tool because when I look around my community, I see children who were not given the tools or knowledge to fix things themselves. I feel we can make their life’s better and the world a better place if we pass down these skill sets and knowledge.

We as a Library can help our youth to learn valuable lessons that will help them through life by something as simple as passing down our knowledge. The question is how can we do this? how do we get their heads out of the screen and into learning life skills?

Outcome = To give the Library director a way to educate and contribute. This will give children a way to learn the knowledge to be independent and take the initiative to be self sufficient. This could possibly lead to a more productive and independent life for the children.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_text_separator title=”Tool: Youth Empowerment” border_width=”3″][vc_column_text][ipt_fsqm_form id=”88″][/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”Evaluation: Youth Empowerment” border_width=”3″][vc_column_text][ipt_fsqm_form id=”89″][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
